In June of 1981, following an accomplished 13 years career holding prominent regional and national posts in the advertising industry and with the American Broadcasting Company, Ed Poole turned his focus to the Franchise Industry and franchise business ownership.

Today, Ed's franchise background comprises more than 26 years of exemplary mid level and senior level management performance with four different national and international franchises and a successful “business opportunity” endeavor of his own creation. Early in this new career, Ed devoted six years to franchise regional ownership as a "Master Licensee" and sub-franchisor.

As the Regional Franchise Director, Ed totally immersed himself into providing hands-on franchisee support for thirty-eight (38) individual franchisees. His duties included providing their on-going sales and marketing training, advertising direction, and business operations guidance. As testimony to the success of Ed’s personal tutelage and "TLC", annual retail sales of his region’s franchises consistently ranked in the “Top-5” among that franchise's 74 regions worldwide for all five years of his tenure.

In addition to owning and operating a thriving franchise, Ed has launched three successful start-up companies. In his capacity as their President and Chief Operating Officer, he grew all three businesses - two “B2B” enterprises and one, retail - to national in scope. Computer-savvy since 1989, Ed became an expert “webmaster” along the way and created two commercial websites for the businesses. Today, both continue years later to be consistently ranked the number-one “most-visited” websites on the Internet in their respective subject categories.

With two and one-half decades in the World of Business, Ed’s franchise and business ownership successes have garnered him many consulting assignments. Those have included working with franchisors that offer QSR (fast-food) franchises, vitamin supplements store franchises, computer learning centers for children, video rental store franchises, one hour photo processing and photography studios, auto repair/service center franchises, packaging/mailing centers, employee screening (background checks; drug testing; physical exams), interior decorating franchises, and “med spas” (medical day spas).

Ed has personally helped well over 700 men and women - from all walks of life - in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South America…and even a single dad and his three daughters in the Bahamas…to start their own business. Ed enthusiastically welcomes and thrives on taking every available opportunity to fulfill what he terms "The passion of his PRE-twilight years": helping as many people as he can to get into a financially and personally rewarding business for themselves- to fulfill their American Dream just as he has done!

Although a confirmed “workaholic”, Ed still finds personal time to be active in his primary community of Newport Beach, California. He is a past recipient of the National Exchange Club's "Outstanding Civic Leadership Award" and the Lions Clubs International "Outstanding Citizenship Award". A member of his Orange County, California “Sheriff’s Advisory Council” 2002-2006, Ed also served for four years on the Board of Directors of that Sheriff Department’s two community service projects, “Drug Use Is Life Abuse” and “No Gangs!”

On October 17, 1988 Ed met A Very Special Franchisee - "Jean" - at a franchise management conference. They married exactly one year-to-the-day later. Ed and Jean now divide their time between their residences in Newport Beach in California, Las Vegas, Nevada, and traveling abroad.
